Thoughts Within
Madan Lal is one of the sufi/poetic artists in today’s generation on Indian artists. He has made a mark for himself as a watercolorist and painter at equal ease with metaphysical, metaphorical or figurative work. Being recognized after his mega show in 2007 in Delhi by Gallery Art Indus widely for his masterly use of figures clothed in transparent layers of colours, and inspirations from simple everyday living he communicates a deep thought process to the viewer. His large body of work has a finesse and intensity in forms and drawings that have become his trademark.
