Veguri Ravindra Babu’s paintings were widely appreciated by those present at an exclusive event conducted by the European Business Group (EBG) on July 30, 2009, at the TAJ Mahal Hotel, Colaba, Mumbai. Mr Harmeet Singh Sethi, CEO, Aura Art introduced Ravindra Babu to the august audience and also released the folder containing images of select paintings, besides the write-ups of leading critics who have expressed their views on Ravindra Babu’s artworks. Ravindra Babu then interacted at length with the audience for a couple of hours, where he shared his journey so far and provided insights into his sensibilities and thought process. The overwhelming appreciation of Ravindra Babu’s paintings, by attendees, is a further demonstration of the international appeal of his artworks. |

Tejinder Kanda, an artist from Delhi, delighted members of the European Business Group (EBG), by creating a work live at The Bombay Yacht Club. The artist, who worked continuously for 2 hours, left the audience breathless with his mastery over the spatula technique (the technique involves the use of a palette knife instead of a brush to paint on canvas that helps add interesting texture and produce beautiful fluid ridges). The members were further enthralled to view other works and interact with the artist, after he had given the finishing touches to his work. |
